COVID-19 UPDATE: Latest Executive Order from Governor Whitmer (EO2020-97) May 27th, 2020.

As of May 29th, 2020 we are offering all the veterinary services that we have typically offered.  This includes, but is not limited to:

  • well animal exams
  • pre-surgical exams
  • ill or injured pet exams
  • lab testing
  • vaccinations
  • surgical procedures
  • dental procedures
  • and emergency services.

Please see below the protocols we have in place to protect you, our valued clients, and also our awesome care team members.

Protocol we are following:

  • We are not allowing any clients in the building at this time.  Our front doors will remain locked.
  • All patients are seen through flex curbside appointments.  These flex curbside appointments must be scheduled in advance of your arrival.
  • When you arrive at our office please remain in your car and call our office at 231-845-7719.  A care team member will obtain all pertinent information regarding your pet.  Once we have obtained all the information needed for your pets visit a team member will come to your car and bring your pet into our facility.
  • Plan on leaving your pet with us. You can feel free to go about your daily activities while we care for your pet.
  • The Dr. will call you after the examination of your pet with any questions he or she may have.  The Dr. will then advise you over the phone what procedures are indicated for your pet.
  • When we are finished with your pet a team member will call you and arrange a pickup time for you to return and pick your pet up.
  • If you or someone you have recently been around is not feeling well or has recently been sick, we ask that you call our office to reschedule your pet for a later date when everyone is feeling better.  Alternatively, you can appoint another healthy adult to bring your pet.

If you have any questions please call our office at 231-845-7719.  We hope everyone is staying safe and healthy!

Stay Well,

Dr. Stephen Paxton, Dr. Leslie Deines, and the entire careteam at the Animal Hospital of Ludington
